Windblown is an upcoming title from Dead Cells developers – Motion Twin. In this action game with RPG and roguelike elements, you will explore the fantasy world with a gigantic, deadly vortex in the middle. Your goal is to save your home from dangerous creatures. The game will be released in early access tomorrow (23rd October) on PC. So, what about consoles PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch?

Windblown – Console (PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch) Release Explained

At this point, there is only one piece of information about potential consoles ports. On the official Discord, a Motion Twin team member said that versions for other platforms will appear if the game is successful enough. However, like I said earlier, Windblown initially will be available in early access on PC (via Steam) only. Probably, before porting the tile, developers will focus on finishing the game. So, you must be patient and wait for the future announcements.

You should also remember that the previous game from Motion Twin – Dead Cells –was supported for a long time after its premiere. This title was initially released in 2018 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch. In 2019, the Evil Empire studio became responsible for its development. Later the game also hit PS5, Android and iOS. During six years from premiere, it received DLCs (one of them was a crossover with legendary series Castlevania) and patches with new content. However, from 2019, further support of the game was the responsibility of Evil Empire.
