And after the successful Sonic the Hedgehog and The Last of Us, it was time for Minecraft. It would seem that a sandbox game is not material for making a movie, and yet one has been made and will hit theaters on April 4, 2025.

A Minecraft Movie age rating

It's a good idea to learn a little about the movie before the screening, especially if you're planning a trip to the theater with the whole family. Lots of kids play Minecraft, but is A Minecraft Movie meant for the little ones? The production starring Jack Black and Jason Momoa has been given an age rating of PG, which means that some content may not be suitable for children and parents are encouraged to give “parental guidance.”

And for what reason did A Minecraft Movie receive just such a category? It is due to the violence/action, language, suggestive/rude humor and some scary images in the film.
