We Know the Launch Date of EA Access on PS4
EA Access will be available to PlayStation 4 users from July 24. A monthly subscription will cost $4.99 and an annual $29.99.
We learned some time ago that EA Access is headed for PlayStation 4 and now we have the official release date of the subscription service, which will be available for purchase from July 24 this year. The subscription will enable users gain unlimited access to selected productions and several other benefits. On the official website of Electronic Arts you can find the exact countdown to the start of the service. The monthly subscription will cost 4.99 dollars and the annual option 29.99 dollars.
Thanks to this service we will be able to play a lot of games from the Electronic Arts portfolio. There will be titles like Star Wars: Battlefront II, Need for Speed: Payback, Battlefield 1 or Dragon Age: Inquisition. In addition, users will get the opportunity to try the latest productions in ten-hour trial versions, as well as a 10% discount on shopping.
Interestingly, in July 2014 Sony did not want to hear about EA Access on its console, claiming that it is not good enough for PS4 users. As you can see, much has changed in recent years, and cooperation with EA is another step in the direction of resignation from the policy pursued by the company. It is worth remembering that the subscription does work between platforms, which means that owners of two consoles will be forced to buy the service separately on each of them.
