F1 2019 Launch and Reviews - „Most Complete Formula 1 Experience”
Today, F1 2019, the next installment in the popular racing game series from Codemasters, debuted on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The title was warmly welcomed by the industry media.
Premiere
Although the new Formula 1 season has been in full swing for several months now, only now fans of virtual competition on the track can take this year's cars for a spin. F1 2019, the next installment of the popular series from the British studio Codemasters, officially licensed by the famous racing series, debuts on PCs and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles today.
Importantly, in F1 2019 you can race not only the latest Formula 1 cars, but also 18 cars from last year, as well as the Ferrari F10 and McLaren MP4-25, which competed on the tracks in the 2010 season. In addition, if you decide to buy Legends Edition or a special DLC, you will be able to drive the McLaren MP4/5B and Ferrari F1-90, in which the legendary rivals - Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost - raced in the early 90s of the last century. 8 racing challenges have been prepared especially for these vehicles.
There's more to it than that. In F1 2019 you can also take part in last year's competition in the F2 series, or "background" of Formula 1. Drivers and teams participating in it this year will appear in the title later in the year.
F1 2019 also features a multiplayer mode. It allows you to design your own car in accordance with this year's Formula 1 regulations and compete in tournaments, single races or online leagues.
Reviews and hardware requirements
Content is nice, but how does the title work in action? Industry journalists tried to answer this question and according to them, F1 2019 is a very successful production. The game's its average score on OpenCritic is 85/100 (based on 31 reviews). Critics praise above all the visual design, a pleasant driving model and improvements to the previous part (although, according to some experts, too superficial). All this makes this game "the most complete Formula 1 experience" when it comes to digital entertainment. The addition of Formula 2 also turned out to be a great success, which among other things diversifies the career mode pleasantly.
