Watch Dogs Legion With Serious Issue on Xbox One X
A critical bug in Watch Dogs: The Legion - occurring around 6 to 8 hours into the campaign - causes Xbox One X consoles to reset.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- Critiacal error in Watch Dogs: Legion on Xbox One X causes the console to reset;
- The bug occurs around 6 to 8 hours into the story campaign;
- Ubisoft is aware of the problem - a hotfix to eliminate it will appear on October 30.
Eurogamer reports that there is a serious bug in Watch Dogs: Legion version on Xbox One X that prevents us from completing the game. The bug, which appears about 6 to 8 hours into the main storyline - during the mission called "404" (I'm not kidding...) - makes the console freeze and then reset, most likely due to overheating.
Eurogamer editors point out that the problem happened to several people reviewing the title in question on the said console (which is, nomen omen, a platform recommended by Ubisoft for reviewers). On other gaming devices the bug does not occur, although the game does not lack other, smaller bugs.
Developers are aware of the existence of the bug and assure that they will eliminate it with a hotfix, to be released on October 30.
If you are a Xbox One X owner and plan to play Watch Dogs: Legion, it might be better to wait a few days. Say what you want, but problems with console overheating are no joke and although the system has the right security measures, it's better to be careful than regret afterwards.
