Support Ends for Watch Dogs: Legion
The devs of Watch Dogs: Legion informed about the end of game's development cycle. This means no new additions, with the recently launched 5th season of multiplayer games being the last.
We have bad news for fans of Watch Dogs: Legion. Ubisoft has announcedthey'd ended the development of this game. The recently released Title Update 5.6 was the last update to this production. Recently, the fourth season in multiplayer mode came to an end and the fifth began. After its completion, the previous seasons will be repeated.
Watch Dogs: Legion was released in October 2020, so the game was supported for fifteen months. That's a solid result by general standards, but a poor one when you compare it to Ubisoft's other big releases.
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla was released one month after Watch Dogs: Legionand is still being intensively developed. The game is to receive its third expansion this year, entitled Dawn of Ragnarok, which will be the largest addition in the history of the series.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, which was released in October 2019 and a few months ago received a huge update Operation Motherland, introducing, among others, a new gameplay mode, also received longer support.
However, we have to admit that after the release, Watch Dogs: Legion received a lot of new content. The extensive Bloodline expansion was released, the game also gained a co-op mode and multiplayer PvP skirmishes. Players could also have fun in special missions, such as a heist inspired by the La casa de papel TV show.
Want a fresh experience in Watch Dogs: Legion? Try out the mod Scripthook.
Unfortunately, we can't count on fans to take care of the game's development. The Nomad group released Watch_Dogs Legion ScriptHook, which allows you to load your own scripts, but nobody has used this to develop interesting mods. However, the project is worthy of the attention of the community focused on the production, because it itself offers many possibilities to change the settings and the game world, far beyond what traditional trainers allow. For example, we can freely summon different types of objects, control the traffic or use an extensive photography system.
