In Warhammer: Vermintide 2 you will be able to control one of five characters. Each of them has specific careers, which you unlock over time. Below you will find a summary of the best specializations available in the game. We take into account here their strength, usefulness in a party and how they perform in solo gameplay.
Tier S
Career | Character | Description |
Shade | Kerillian | Shade resembles a typical RPG rogue. The character is capable of inflicting miassive damage from hiding. This makes it easy to eliminate even strong opponents. |
Mercenary | Markus Kruber | This is a career with great flexibility. By choosing it you can specialize in ranged or close combat. |
Ironbreaker | Bardin Goreksson | Ironbreaker is an option if you prefer more defensive gameplay. This is because the class is capable of taking large amounts of damage. |
Grail Knight (DLC) | Markus Kruber | A powerful career that requires experience and a good understanding of the battlefield. This is because he is able to eliminate many opponents with a single attack. |
Tier A
Career | Character | Description |
Zealot | Victor Saltzpyre | A character specializing in ranged attacks. Great at eliminating distant targets located behind the first line. |
Witch Hunter Captain | Victor Saltzpyre | Using this career you can fight at close quarters or at a distance. The foundation in this case, however, is efficient movement on the battlefield and imposing negative effects on your opponents. |
