Does Vermintide 2 Have a Campaign? Story Mode Explained
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has a story campaign. To access it, however, you need to enter the appropriate menu. Here you will learn how to do it.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a co-op-oriented action game set in the Warhammer 40K universe. The game does not have a clearly marked option to play the story mode. However, this does not mean that it does not exist, there is a story in the game, which can be followed - just enter the appropriate menu. Below you will find information on how to fire up the campaign. You will also learn the list of missions.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - how to play the campaign
As mentioned at the beginning, the game does not have a dedicated option to launch the story campaign. In order for you to be able to play the tasks described above in the right order, you need to start a custom game. Then you will see an option to select specific missions. The correct order of their execution is presented there.
If you choose quick play, you will get a random map. Playing the campaign will therefore be impossible, because you have no control over the mission you receive.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - list of missions.
The order of missions in Vermintide 2 is not very complicated. When you turn on the game for the first time, it will launch a Prologue acting as a tutorial. When you complete it, you will be transferred to the base from where you can play out the next missions.
The game's campaign is divided into 3 acts. In each of them you will play 4 missions, the last of which always includes a boss.
- Act 1: Righteous Stand, Convocation of Decay, Hunger in the Dark, Halescourge.
- Act 2: Athel Yenlui, The Screaming Bell, Fort Brachsenbrucke, Into the Nest
- Act 3: Against the Grain, Empire in Flames, Festering Ground. The War Camp
When you complete all 12 missions the final stage will unlock. It contains the final boss - Deathrattler.
The number of available quests can be increased. This is because some of the expansions released for the game contain brand new maps. An example of such DLC is Back to Ubersreik, adding as many as 4 new stages.
