Good Launch of Warhammer Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters on Steam
The turn-based strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters recorded a successful debut on Steam. The game made it to the top 10 biggest bestsellers of the past week and is achieving good activity results.
As every Monday the list of the biggest (by revenue) bestsellers of the past week on Steam has been released. Number one was once again Steam Deck, and the second place was once again taken by Elden Ring. This is the third week in a row when the aforementioned items occupy the top of the list.
Good debut of Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters
The list was dominated by older productions. In the top ten there is only one new game in the form of turn-based strategy Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters, which debuted on the ninth spot.
Despite a sales success, the game's release did not go without problems. The game leaves much to be desired in terms of technical refinement. As a result, on Steam only 69% of user reviews are positive, which is categorized as a "mixed" reception.
Technical shortcomings, however, do not prevent the game from achieving good activity results. Yesterday, at the hottest moment of the day, 12,455 people simultaneously played the title on Steam and this is the game's current all-time record. The fact that Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters scored better in its first weekend than it did on launch day bodes well for the future.
The biggest Steam hits of the past week (by revenue)
All other games in the top 10 were also present in the previous list. Only the order has changed. However, it is worth paying attention to Rogue Legacy 2, which jumped from seventh to third place. The game is still gaining popularity and yesterday it set a new activity record at the level of 22,811 concurrent users.
