Warhammer Chaos Gate Deamonhunters - class description

The game offers a total of eight classes. Four of them are available from the very beginning of the campaign, while the others are advanced classes that you gain as you take down Nurgle's forces. To unlock the latter, you must gain the favor of the armory manager. Once you have access, the advanced classes enter the rotation of available units and become available for purchase.

Basic Classes

1. Justicar

A frontline warrior who uses a skill called "crushing charge". This is used to smash through all obstacles and enemies that stand in his way. The "honour the chapter" skill enables the Justicar to increase the action points and willpower of an ally, allowing them to perform more actions per turn.

1. Interceptor

A fast-moving unit, whose teleport strike ability enables it to reach a chosen location, dealing damage to enemies along the way and reducing the distance to its target. Support fire is an ability that enables this class to fire at an enemy at no cost when an ally does so.

This is a ranged heavy weapons specialist who has access to the "emperor's light" ability. The skill "arcane weapons" blesses the ammunition of allies, increasing the damage of their ranged attacks.

1. Apothecary

A combat medic who can heal allies with the "battlefield medicine" skill, provided he has Narthecium and healing supplies on his equipment. His abilities strengthen the allies, giving them additional action points or increasing their chance to stun enemies.

Advanced classes

1. Paladin

An elite warrior clad in armor who can crush enemies with powerful combat skills.

1. Chaplain

Uses prayers and litanies to strengthen allies, and can remove debuffs inflicted by Nurgle's forces.

1. Librarian

A veteran psyker who relies on devastating psychic attacks to fight humanity's enemies.

1. Purifier

Wielding a flamethrower and able to incinerate enemies who get too close, as well as remove mutations and debuffs.
