Warcraft 3: Reforged - Blizzard Fixes the Game; Patch Inbound
Blizzard informed on it blog about planned updates for Warcraft 3: Reforged. Among the many promises we can also find some details.
Last week we mentioned the lack of features promised by Warcraft III: Reforged's developers. Two days ago, an entry was posted on Blizzard's official blog informing about planned updates to introduce the promised changes and more. What can we expect?
The main goal of the company is to improve communication with the players and add the expected features to the game. In terms of getting rid of issues, the developers intend to fix the frequent desynchronization that occurs during online game. The game balance is also to be changed. As the company claims:
"Our goal is to preserve classic strategies where possible while promoting increased strategic variety. Warcraft III is a hero-focused RTS (Real-Time Strategy game), and we want to celebrate that by providing opportunities for players to open with different Heroes while retaining the unique playstyles inherent to each race and the asymmetry between races."
The entry informs that that Blizzard also wants to work on the matching system. The message also mentions improvements to the ranking ladders, profiles, custom campaigns, and clans. The company is expected to provide details in the future.
We don't know the release date of the update, but since Blizzard hasn't provided us with any information so far, we can wait a long time before any changes appear in the game. And as we all know, a longer waiting time for game changes is never a good things. Especially if we're talking about a game that has such a low rating. All we can do is watch the development.
