Highly Anticipated Patch 1.35 for Warcraft 3 Reforged With Release Date
We have learned the release date of patch 1.35.0 for the RTS Warcraft III: Reforged. It will introduce, among other things, the ability to create fan-made campaigns. With the release of this update, development of the game will be almost completed.
Blizzard Entertainment has finally revealed the release date for the highly anticipated patch 1.35.0 for Warcraft III: Reforged. The patch will debut on January 19, this year.
The most important new feature will be enabling fans to create their own story campaigns. Until now, players have only been able to publish single maps. This feature has been awaited by many modders, including InsaneMonster, whose projects we wrote about recently. He has already released heavily enhanced versions of two campaigns (Exodus of the Horde and The Scourge of Lordaeron), which deliver on Blizzard's original promises in this regard.
When using these mods currently, you have to manually load each map separately (via the Custom Game option or by loading them in the editor). The patch will finally enable these and similar mods to be played out like classic campaigns, with the game itself moving you from mission to mission in a specific order.

Patch 1.35.0 is also expected to introduce fixes for a number of bugs and thoroughly rework the gameplay balance. This is supposed to be the last update changing the balance of armies or adding new features. In the future, we can expect only bug-fixing patches. In practice, then, the debut of 1.35.0 will mark the end of the game's development.
Recall that Warcraft III: Reforged was released on January 29, 2020. The game is available exclusively on PC.
