Videos From New Game by The Hong Kong Massacre Devs are Mind-blowing
The Hong Kong Massacre was a warmly received indie shooter. Its creators at VRESKI are striking the iron while it's hot and preparing a new project, which looks really great on videos presented on Twitter.
VRESKI is a Swedish development studio made up of two people who debuted with the John Woo-inspired The Hong Kong Massacre, a juicy bird's eye view shooter set during a Triad War in the eponymous city. The duo's latest project will be an FPS with bullet time, which will probably have a huge impact on the gameplay. We wrote about the game back in March, because the authors are eager to share new materials online. Since then, more videos showing the project appeared, the latest of which hit Twitter a few days ago.
We must admit that the presented fragments from a still unnamed production look very impressive. If VRESKI actually manages to release a game that will impress with such detailed graphics and destructioble environments, it may open a lot of doors for the team. The videos look really phenomenal. The creators admit that in The Hong Kong Massacre players could not feast their eyes on too many explosions and other fireworks, so they want to compensate. The footage below was published on October 28. The studio's Twitter profile also features videos from this May and July.
We don't know much more about the Swedish project so far, so the only thing that remains is to keep our fingers crossed for the talented artists and hope we will soon see the announcement of the title and release date.
