Vampire: Bloodlines 2 Not Dead; Devs Give Signs of Life
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is still alive and - if Paradox is to be believed - getting better. We will soon see for ourselves.
I bring good news for those still waiting for the release of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. The developers - see below - have reported that they are working hard on the game all the time and in September we will be able to see the result of their efforts. Its substitute are the new screenshots posted in this message.
What's more, the devs decided to slightly change the various edition of the game - including the content of the collector's edition announced in June 2020. For this reason, and due to the prolonged development time, all preorders that included any physical items have been canceled, while the money will be returned to player accounts.
In the case of digital editions of the game, there will also be no problem with refunds, but you will have to apply for it on your own. For more information, visit this page.
WHO IS THE AUTHOR?
Originally Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 was developed by studio Hardsuit Labs. In 2021, however, it was taken off the project, which was taken over by an unknown developer. Now, however, the game's on Steam shows that the game's developer is Paradox Interactive's internal team.
As a reminder, let's add that Paradox announced Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 quite a long time ago, namely in March 2019. The title was due to hit PC, PS4 and XOne in the first quarter of 2020, and the publisher didn't spare us promotional material - we even got an extensive gameplay.
In October 2019, however, the release was delayed - theoretically only by a few months. After that, however, there were further delayes, the game lost a developer and was almost canceled.
