Valorant With 14 Million Active Players and Coming to Mobile Devices

Riot Games boasted that Valorant has over 14 million people per month on PC. A mobile version was also announced.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Valorant is played by over 14 million people a month;
  • On this occasion, a series of events with prizes has been prepared for fans this month;
  • The brand will get a mobile version

Yesterday marked a year from the launch of Valorant. On this occasion, Riot Games decided to summarize the game's achievements and revealed some plans for the future.

First of all, the devs boasted of the game's popularity. Currently, more than 14 million people play Valorant at least once a month. In its first year on the market, more than half a billion matches have been played in the shooter.

For comparison - last month Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was played almost 27 million people. The fact that in a year Valorant has reached more than half the popularity of CS:GO is impressive.

Currently, Riot Games' title is only available on PC, but this is about to change. On the occasion of the game's first birthday, the creators have announced that Valorant will get a mobile version. Unfortunately, no details were revealed. The devs assured only that it will not be a spin-off and we'll get a tactical shooter focused on network competition. We do not know, however, whether this is to be a port of the PC original or something new.

At the end it is worth mentioning that Riot Games celebrates the first birthday of Valorant with a monthly series of events that enable us to earn various rewards in the game.
