Valorant - Riot Games Reveals New Agent, Killjoy
Valorant will be enriched with a new character in a few days. The heroine's name is Killjoy and she will have an arsenal of interesting - and potentially very annoying - gadgets.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- Riot Games officially presented a new character for Valorant - Killjoy;
- The heroine will have a number of gadgets at her disposal, including harassing turrets and robots;
- Killjoy will appear in the game on August 4.
Valorant will soon receive a new character (via PCGamer). According to previous leaks, the heroine's name is Killjoy. The reports about her abilities have also been confirmed (more on this topic below). Developers from Riot Games also presented a trailer, which we can watch find below.
Killjoy - character abilities
Killjoy will have four gadgets at her disposal, which she will use to gain an advantage over her rivals. The list is:
- Alarmbot - a small robot that can be used to "secure" a certain area. When the machine sees an enemy, it jumps on them and detonates an explosive device. In addition to damaging them, Alarmbot applies an effect on the target that doubles the damage received from all other sources for a moment;
- Turret - a turret that shoots at enemies entering its field of fire;
- Nanoswarm - a grenade with a swarm of nanobots inflicting considerable damage;
- Lockdown - Ultimate skill. Killjoy sets up a device that slows down all enemies in area of effect for a few seconds, and prevents them from attacking (the object that is causing the effect can be destroyed).
New agent will appear in the gamewith the beginning of the second act, in just a few days - August 4.
We'd like to remind that Valorant is a free title that is currently available exclusively on PC. The shooter debuted on June 2 this year and turned out to be a great success.
