Valheim Sales Will Soon Exceed 8 Million Copies
Valheim continues to find many new buyers. The game's publisher has announced that it expects sales of the game to exceed 8 million copies soon.
Valheim hasn't appeared on the top ten Steam bestseller lists for some time now, but the game is still doing very well. In the latest financial report of Coffee Stain, the publisher of the project, there is a forecast that by the end of June this year, the game's sales should approach 8 million copies.
The report states that the game has already sold 6.8 million copies, which may come as a surprise, because a month ago, Valheim's devs at Iron Gate boasted about crossing the 7 million threshold. This is due to the fact that Coffee Stain's financial report only covers the period up to March 31, 2021, while the data provided by the devs included copies sold through several weeks of April.
Overall, the publisher's revenue for the first three months of the year was $93.6 million. Sales of Valheim accounted for most of that amount.
