Over 4 million Players Have Become Vikings in Valheim
The Viking raid continues. Sales of Valheim, the survival game by Iron Gate, have just exceeded 4 million copies.
Valheim does not cease to amaze. The creators boasted that they have already sold over 4 million copies of the game. This impressive result was achieved in three weeks from the launch, as the game debuted in early access on February 2.
The pace of sales in the last few days is especially impressive. The devs informed about exceeding 2 million copies on February 15. Four days later it was already three million, and less than a week later they announced reaching the threshold of 4 million.
Iron Gate also boasted other stats. At the hottest moment of last weekend Valheim was played by over 500 thousand people at the same time. This result places the game among the five games with the highest activity records in Steam's history.
The game also met with a very positive response from players. Currently, as much as 96% of the more than 90 thousand user reviews are positive. This makes Valheim the 57th highest rated game on Steam.
