In two days the first major update to Valheim, Hearth and Home, will arrive. In connection with this, the creators decided to publish a 30-minute video, in which they discuss the upcoming novelties. The developers admitted that they hope players returning to the game will start the adventure anew.

This statement is due to the fact that the game will include new content associated with one of the biomes - plains. However, it will be generated only on undiscovered areas, so those who have uncovered the entire map will not see any changes.

Additionally, Hearth and Home will modify the food system, adding new dishes. However, at the same time the connection between health points and stamina will disappear. From now on, these will be two separate parameters, which will be affected differently by individual dishes. There will also be a new option called "strategic vomiting". Thanks to it we will empty the stomachs of Vikings and make room for other meals.

The last major change will be a complete rebalance of weapons available in the game. The two-handed axe, for example, will be faster than before.
