FALLOUT 76 IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Developer: Bethesda Game Studios
  2. Publisher: Bethesda Softworks
  3. Genre: RPG/survival sandbox
  4. Platforms: PC, XONE, PS4
  5. Release date: November 14, 2018

Fallout 76 received Update number 8, introducing new content that is part of the so-called Wild Appalachia. On PC the patch is marked with number 1.1.2.9 and requires downloading 2 GB of data. On consoles, the update is numbered 1.1.2.4 and takes 6 GB.

Update 8 enriches the game with a questline titled Lying Lowe, in which we have to investigate the disappearance of Calvin van Lowe. The developers also changed the balance of such elements as vendors, turrets, glowing mass and V.A.T.S. There is also the possibility to rename items. In addition, the devs have added a news screen with announcements that is displayed when you log in.

But that's not all. On April 16, the game will receive a new dungeon called The Burrows and a virtual camera called SnapMatic! accompanied by an additional task and fresh challenges.

What's more, in a few weeks, the game will include the so-called repair kits, or utility items, which will allow us to quickly repair items of equipment without the need to spend resources. We will be able to buy them both for real money and for the currency accumulated during the game.

Let's remind that Fallout 76 launched on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 14 last year. The game met with a cold reception - the PC edition now has an average rating of 52% on Metacritic.
