Until Dawn Remaster Officially Announced. Will Also Come Out on PC
Reports from industry insiders have once again been confirmed. At State of Play, Sony presented a trailer for the remastered version of Until Dawn.

On January 24, we reported that, according to sources from billbil-kun, Sony was set to announce a refreshed version of Until Dawn at the State of Play event. Now we know that the leaks turned out to be true.
Below, you can watch the first trailer of the game. The material confirms that the title will be released on PS5 and PC. However, we didn't receive any specific details regarding the exact release date. Premieres are expected in 2024, that's all we know.
The original was ported to Unreal Engine 5, which helped the devs at Ballistic Moon studio - the creators of the original, the Supermassive Games team, aren't responsible for this version - to improve character animations, visual effects, and textures. They also chose to include new camera angles, which will improve the experience for those familiar with the 2015 PS4 version of the game.
Furthermore, players will have the opportunity to discover a greater variety of collectible items, listen to new musical compositions by Mark Korven, and explore the developed narrative threads of the original story. The objective of all these changes is to enhance the immersion of experiencing events unfolding over the course of one night in the Blackwood mountains.
Just to remind you, Until Dawn is getting a movie adaptation. David F. Sandberg, known for directing films like Annabelle: Creation and Lights Out, will be the director. You can find more details here.
