Unreal Engine 5.1 Now Available

Unreal Engine 5 has received new features. The popular engine has been updated to version 5.1, which is expected to further beautify the visuals of games, while making life easier for developers and easing the burden on players' computers (or consoles) a bit.

This also includes automated Pipline State Object (PSO) caching, which makes it easier to quickly prepare a project to be compatible with DirectX 12 libraries. By the way the problem with so-called shader compilation stutters has been reduced, as promised in June. This will also improve performance, in this case when loading new locations.
Version 5.1 also allows for the creation of huge worlds and bodies of water without loss of "precision," and in the latter case also with minimal memory consumption. Added to this are the debuts of tools based on artificial intelligence, which have finally left the experimental phase.
