Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will take up 44.7 GB of your PS4 HDD
Naughty Dog said that the standalone expansion Uncharted: The Lost Legacy would be almost as big as another full game. That's true - the game weighs 44.7 GB.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is almost out and now the review copies have been sent out to the gaming media. That’s how we’ve learned that the standalone expansion for the fourth installment in Naughty Dog’s action game series weights as much as 44.7 GB! For the sake of comparison, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End takes up a little over 3 GB more than that. This does give weight to Naughty Dog’s promises that The Lost Legacy would be almost as big as another entry in the series, rather than an ordinary DLC.
Fans of the franchise are looking forward to playing this new adventure in Uncharted’s universe, but that is almost surely not the last one. Although Naughty Dog are currently busy with The Last of Us: Part II and admit the story of Nathan Drake is over that doesn’t mean the end of Uncharted as a brand. That’s what The Lost Legacy’s creative director Shaun Escayg said at this year’s E3 in an interview for Eurogamer:
I wouldn't say it's the end. This thieving world is huge. There's so many characters. Even before we settled on this particular story we were exploring Sullivan, we were exploring Cutter, and pairing each other up, thinking what would be right, what would have conflict, growth, something new, something fresh. And Chloe was the one that kept jumping out. But to say the Uncharted world is done... I doubt that highly.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is coming out for PlayStation 4 next week, on August 22, 2017.
