Ultra-violent retro shooter Butcher is out now on Steam
Revisit the 90's playing Butcher, an ultra-violent retro shooter, in which your only goal is to exterminate all humans and everything that moves your way.
Are you ready for a gory massacre, corpse kicking, and spraying walls with blood? If so, you should consider heading to the nearest psychiatrist, or… blow off some steam playing Butcher. This is a fast-paced ultra-violent 2D retro shooter, where “Hard” is the easiest mode.
Your only goal in Butcher is to exterminate all humans by any means necessary. You fight your way through underground compounds, post-apocalyptic cities, jungles, and other environments, killing off everything that moves using guns, a chainsaw, or grenade launcher. There is also much room for creative kills, like kicking your enemies into lava pits or nailing them on hooks. Check out the official trailer to get the vibe of the game’s disturbing atmosphere and fast-paced gameplay.
Butcher is now available on Steam with a 10% discount at $8.99. If you’d like to check out the game before buying it, you can try out the free prototype version still available on the developer’s website. Or if you’re just curious who would make a game about slaughtering humans, it’s the Polish indie studio Transhuman Design. Just so you know.
