Despite the contentious (let's say) rumors, it seems that Ubisoft is prepared to once again present its upcoming multiplayer game to a broader audience. On Friday, April 19, XDefiant server tests will begin.

"The session" will last until Sunday, April 21st. At first, only 12-hour tests were planned, but it seems that Ubisoft has decided to give players additional time to try out their new release (via X).

You will be able to play on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. Players are already able to download XDefiant files in order to start playing right away. Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to receive rewards in the complete game version for taking part in the tests.

The upcoming public tests represent a significant milestone in the game's tumultuous history. XDefiant was announced almost three years ago, but it was another Ubisoft project that allegedly had major problems during production (though at least it wasn't canceled). As a result, some players weren't entirely convinced of the success of this title, even after the highly successful beta tests last year.

The release date of XDefiant remains unknown.
