Ubisoft Plus in Xbox Game Pass; New Hints
Ubisoft Plus may be coming to Game Pass after all. This is suggested by a clue left online by a verified tipster.
- Ubisoft Plus may be available in Game Pass after all.
- This is suggested by a post made on Twitter by a well-known tipster.
- He is a well-known source of leaks regarding Microsoft.
A few months ago news broke that Ubisoft Plus may become part of the Game Pass service. Unfortunately, this information was quickly dismissed by the very source of all the fuss, the Dutch branch of the French publisher.
Now, however, another clue has appeared online suggesting that this may not be the end of the story. A well-known informant suggests that Ubisoft's service will indeed become part of Microsoft's subscription.
Game Pass with more Ubisoft games?
The source of the new clue is a Twitter user known as Aggiornamenti Lumia. Yesterday, he posted on his profile a message, which consists only of the Ubisoft Plus service logo without any description.
So why should we even interpret this as an announcement of Ubisoft+'s imminent appearance in Game Pass? The reason is simple - the user is known for leaks specifically about Microsoft, including the Xbox Game Pass service.
Of course, this sounds like a slightly farfetched theory, but in fact Ubisoft's earlier statement does not contradict it. The company stated only that for the time being nothing is known about the addition of Ubisoft Plus to Xbox Game Pass. The key word seems to be "for the time being."
Moreover, some of the French company's games are already available in the library of Microsoft's service. Suffice it to mention titles such as Rainbow Six: Siege and Assassin's Creed Origins. Nor would this be a precedent. After all, the Game Pass already includes EA Play.
So we are left waiting for new information. Time will tell whether this will be another statement dementing the rumors or confirming them.
