Turok 3 Remastered Launches Today; Beat Oblivion in Epic Finale of FPS Trilogy
Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered will be released today. PC gamers have been waiting more than two decades for their own version of the third installment of the series.
In a few hours, we will see the launch of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered, a refreshed version of the classic FPS from 2000.
- The game will be released on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S, Xbos Series X and PlayStation 5.
- The Nintendo Switch release debuted on November 14, but only in Europe and Australia. This version had a number of technical issues and today, along with the release in other markets, it will also receive a patch to fix the numerous flaws.
- The PC version will be available for purchase on Steam and GOG.com.
- On PC, the game will offer extensive modding tools, including a level editor (activated by typing "Editor" in the console).
Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered should prove interesting especially for PC gamers. After all, so far it was the only main installment of the series that bypassed the PC. The first two lived to see PC releases, as did Turok Evolution from 2002 and Turok released 5 years later. PC gamers who are fans of the brand will therefore finally be able to check out what they missed years ago.
