Tribe Nine is a free-to-play action RPG set in futuristic version of Tokio. You will lead a group of three characters, who are trying to survive in a world ruled by brutal fights. It is available on PC and mobile platforms. So, what about consoles like PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch?

Tribe Nine was released on PC (via Steam) on February 19th 2025. Today, the game appeared on mobile platforms (Android and iOS), too. Sadly, there is no information about potential console ports at this point. Probably, TN’s popularity will determine whether it will reach other devices or not. Right now on Steam alone, Tribe Nine attracted almost 9000 concurrent players at its peak (via SteamDB). So, the launch looks promising. If the PC and mobile versions won't lose most of their players in the near future, then there's a chance.
If we assume that Tribe Nine will actually receive ports to other consoles, what hardware can we expect it on? Due to the rather specific situation on the market, it's difficult to predict. Of course, the biggest chances are that the game will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. However, new titles, like Civilization 7 or Sniper Elite: Resistance, are still coming out on 8th generation consoles. So, even if the odds are low, owners of PS4 or Xbox One, shouldn't lose hope.
At this point, it's hard to predict what potentially may happen with the Nintendo Switch version. Switch 2 will be released this year, so developers, if at all, may decide to port only on this console. However, regular Switch has way bigger player base, so it looks like a more lucrative option. Of course, there is backward compatibility (we will see how it will be implemented). On the other hand, not many gacha games are released on Switch at all. We have to wait for official information regarding this.
