Total War: Pharaoh Update Surprises Players with Numerous Small Factions
A major update to Total War: Pharaoh will add quite a few small factions and a handful of new civilizations.
The Creative Assembly studio discussed further changes aimed at Total War: Pharaoh. Just as promised over 2 weeks ago, this time the developer focused on discussing new factions and cultures that will be added to the game with the debut of the major update.
As we know, the big update of "Pharaoh" will introduce the regions of Mesopotamia and the Aegean Sea with their civilizations: Troy, Assyria, Mycenae, and Babylonia. Moreover, the devs will add 25 mini-factions, based on "large" civilizations with minor changes.
Of course, each of these factions will distinguish themselves not only with units but also with objectives and gameplay approaches. For instance, playing as Babylon, we won't complain about the lack of food, but acquiring other resources will be a challenge, and we will focus on slow expansion.
Fans enthusiastically welcomed the details about the new factions, similar to the announcement of doubling the size of the map. Many people were surprised by the number of playable mini-factions, although there are also players who were hoping for a few more "big" civilizations.
We are still waiting for information about the release date of the major update for Total War: Pharaoh.
