Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Coming to Steam [Update]
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 will finally make its debut on Steam. Activision has shared the release date of this bundle on Valve's digital store. As it turns out, we won't be waiting long.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 has officially debuted on Steam. Interestingly, Activision was tempted to provide a pleasant surprise and the game can be purchased as much as 50% off. The first reviews are very positive (88/100 based on 257 reviews), and the simultaneous number of players on the day of the debut reached 1645.
Nevertheless, on Steam forums there is no shortage of complaints about the fact that the game requires a constant internet connection.

Activision announced that the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 compilation is heading to Steam. Developed by Vicarious Visions, the bundle includes remastered versions of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and will hit Valve's digital store on October 3.
The bundle will be made available in two versions: standard and Deluxe Digital Edition. The latter includes:
- the full version of the game;
- an additional skater (The Ripper from Powell-Peralta);
- special retro outfits for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero and Rodney Mullen;
- unique retro-elements for the character creation mode.
Although Steam prices for the various releases have not yet been revealed, it can be assumed that they will be similar to those on Epic Games Store, where they are respectively: $39.99 for the standard version and $49.99 for the Deluxe Digital Edition.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is a compilation of the first two games in the iconic skateboarding simulator series. Both titles were refreshed and updated by Vicarious Visions. However, former members of Neversoft Entertainment also participated in the process of creating this set.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is not just a classic remaster. The gameplay has been built on a completely new engine, which has enabled the game to reach graphical standards in line with modern requirements. Changes include higher resolution and improved performance, high-quality textures, advanced character models and animations, and modern lighting and shading systems. New features have also been introduced, such as the ability to quickly load a level after failures. The soundtrack, meanwhile, includes most of the original tracks as well as new songs.
