Ton of Novelties is Coming to Genshin Impact; Update 2.5 Trailer
The developers of Genshin Impact have discussed what's new in the upcoming update 2.5, titled When the Sakura Bloom. The release date and content was also shown in a new trailer.
- Ability to create your own domains (dungeons);
- Yae Miko's banner;
- Enkanomiya event;
- New enemies, story content, and much more.
A broadcast dedicated to the new patch for Genshin Impact has come to an end. Along with it we received a trailer for update 2.5, called When the Sakura Bloom. The video is posted below.
Developers from miHoYo also revealed the release date of the update. Version 2.5 will debut on February 16 in all regions. There's a lot to look forward to, because the update will introduce a lot of content to the game.
Enkanomiya shrouded in darkness
Firstly, along with the debut of patch 2.5 to Genshin Impact there will be a new event in Enkanomiya. The location will feature places shrouded in darkness, which will weaken our character. With help will come a new item - Bokuso Box - which will gain experience with each action performed during the exploration (not only fighting and completing special objectives, but also opening loot boxes).
The box will give you access to special abilities that will help you fight the dangers of the darkness. Incentive to go on expeditions will be valuable rewards, not only Primogems but also the four star catalyst Oathsworn Eye.
Yae Miko is heading to Genshin Impact 2.5
Version 2.5 will also bring new banners (the local equivalent of loot boxes). Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi will return to the pool, but Yae Miko will join the game. Players could meet her in the game for a long time, but only the new update will give us a chance to play as her.
In addition, new enemies, story content, and player domains are heading to the game. The latter will be part of the Divine Ingenuity event and will enable us to create our own dungeons, to which we can invite friends.
Teaser of Genshin Impact 2.6 - The Chasm
However, not all the broadcast was devoted to the update 2.5. The developers also gave us a taste of the new features prepared for Genshin Impact in version 2.6, which will debut on March 30. Along with it we will receive a completely new location (The Chasm), although so far not much has been revealed about it. Only a handful of concept arts were shown, including the ones featured below.
