Squad Busters is a fast-paced, multiplayer action game in which players compete against each other. The title is constantly evolving, as evidenced by the 2025 roadmap. What's more, a smaller, yet very interesting update to this production is coming out any moment now. Are you curious about what it will introduce? You can find out in our article!

Squad Busters – Update and roadmap for 2025 explained

Today's update, as the developers themselves have announced, won't be too big, although it's still worth checking out. Among other things, it introduces a new PvE mode called Hatchling Run, which is all about rescuing as many hatchlings as possible from monsters, along with two other players. The number of hatchlings saved turns into currency and possibility to purchase Veggie Skins for Bea, Colt and Trader! The update itself will also introduce changes to Star Chests. From now on, when you open them, you will have a chance to get an extra choice. This means better control over which character to evolve first. It's also worth mentioning briefly that there will be balance adjustments of some characters, new maps and skins.

As for the 2025 roadmap, the game's developers have announced a number of interesting updates. For example, in April players will get more strategy and tools to control squads better, and even a new character rarity. Meanwhile, over the summer (the initial launch date is June, but may change), there will be a balance patch, dependent on player feedback, more game modes and opportunities to play with friends (clans), characters, worlds, rewards, events and even collaborations with other universes (as was the case with Transformers). 2025 promises to be a truly intriguing year for Squad Busters players!
