This Glitch on CSGO Map Gives Incredible Advantage
Players can take advantage of an interesting boost on the Ancient map in CSGO. It enables one player to move around the tops of ruins and more.
Youtuber Rikuda has discovered a surprising boost on the Ancient map in Counter Strike Global Offensive. By stacking on top of each other, players can make one player reach a normally inaccessible spot and give themselves a sizable advantage.
Teamwork
For the record - the bug has not been exploited in any official games (although it is worth mentioning that Ancient is in the map pool), but during a regular 5v5 match.
Exploiting the bug is not the easiest thing to do. You need to engage the whole team, and then create a kind of pyramid under one of the constructions on B site. Of course, the easiest way to take advantage of the boost is to play on the anti-terrorist side.
However, when the fifth player manages to climb the ruins, they gain access to admittedly visible but usually inaccessible areas, like the tops of buildings. We can also "fly," which Rikuda demonstrated in his video.
Hello, Valve?
Not surprisingly, the players have been demanding for this bug to be fixed. It appeared in CSGO most likely with the June 15 update, which introduced changes to Ancient, Inferno, Cache, Vertigo, and Vineyard. However, we don't know how long we'll have to wait for the fix - at the time of writing, you can still jump through the ruins.
We can expect that Valve will want to fix this glitch sooner rather than later. After all, we're not talking about textures from a smoke grenade (used by M0nesy during official CSGO matches), but the ability to run on top of the "ceiling".
