In the description of the Kaedwen mod, the author outlined the skills of the ruler and their influence on his units. On paper, the faction presents itself as follows.
- Henselt's special ability "Last of the Unicorns" - if there is a Military Engineer near siege units, they gain a bonus to melee and against districts, as well as +100% to their production.
- Kaedvenian units gain+2 to movement speed for 10 turns after declaring war, and Kaedvenian Tundra gains +1 to food and production.
- The Dun Banner light cavalry is a Kaedwen unit storming the battlefield. When a player trains it, they receive an additional cavalry unit.

Details about The World of The Witcher
Mod introducing Kaedwen to the fields of Civilization also adds the League of Hendfords to the game as a religious city-state. When the player becomes its suzerain, they receive a new luxury resource - Golden Dragon Scales providing twelve amenities.
The Witcher: Kaedwen is currently available in two languages: English and Italian. The author, iPlayGamesITA, did not share information on whether it intends to translate its project into other languages.
Although we can expect that the Polish community will sooner or later contact the Italian, to avoid unnecessary disputes (Dying Light 2, we remember). After all, this is The Witcher we're talking about.
It is also worth mentioning that the creator plans to create more factions so if you would like to play a witcher campaign in Civilization, it is worth following the development of this collection in the Steam workshop.
