The Witcher 3 Next Gen With Better Performance; CD Projekt Promises Fixes
CD Projekt Red has announced more fixes coming soon to The Witcher 3. The changes will focus on the game's performance.
Quite recently The Witcher 3 received a rather large update numbered 4.01. It fixed quite a few bugs related to specific tasks, as well as improved the game's performance. Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red continues to work on fixes and is preparing another patch, which may hit The Witcher 3 in the near future.
It is expected to fix the problems that players have been experiencing after update 4.01, mainly those related to performance. Below you can read what fixes may be coming soon to The Witcher 3. The full list of changes CD Projekt is currently working on can be found here.
- The overall performance and stability of the game will be improved (this refers to the new version of The Witcher 3 in DirectX 12 mode).
- The problem with frame-rate loss in Performance mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles is to be eliminated.
- Graphic deficiencies (related to shadows and lighting) will be fixed.
- "Battle Preparations" quest: patch 4.01 fixed a bug, as a result of which it might not be possible to interact with Avallac'h; after the update, some players do not see the dialogue options to progress the task - this is to be fixed.
In addition, the team is still working on the problem related to the game suddenly crashing and other changes. We do not know when exactly the aforementioned fixes will hit The Witcher 3. According to CD Projekt, this will happen in the "coming days."
