The Watchmaker lets you manipulate time within a giant clock tower
Micropsia Games has announced the Watchmaker, a Braid-inspired, puzzle-adventure 3D platformer that’s slated for release in Q2 2017.
A steampunk puzzle-adventure game called The Watchmaker is coming to Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in the second quarter of 2017. The game’s main protagonist, Alexander, will have to solve a mystery of a sabotaged clock tower that somehow made time run wild. The quest probably wouldn’t even bother him that much, if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s the tower’s keeper. Also, the “time outbreak” caused him to age abnormally quickly, so how much he has to live depends on how long it will take him to find the culprit that caused this mess.
Developed by Micropsia Games, The Watchmaker promises to deliver a diverse gameplay based on various mechanics, including time manipulation, environmental puzzles, and boss fights. Alexander will venture through 5 extensive locations, and try to buy himself enough time to solve the problem by using special gadgets, such as time bombs and magnetic gloves.
We will have more info regarding the game after it’s shown on this year’s gamescom.
