Telltale Games has announced that the third season of their The Walking Dead adventure series is launching this November. The game has got a new subtitle: A New Frontier.
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier, as the third season of The Walking Dead adventure series is now called, is going to launch this November, informed Telltale during last weekend’s PAX West. The continuation of the post-apocalyptic survival story will be available simultaneously on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and mobile platforms. Console players will be able to buy a Season Pass Disc with a physical copy of the opening episode and access to all four subsequent episodes.
The third season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead choice-based adventure game is going to kick off four years after the conclusion of the last season. As the official word reads, “A New Frontier will explore beyond what it means to survive in a world ravaged by the undead, and will see our characters confronting the new rules of order and justice in a land being brutally reclaimed and rediscovered by what's left of humanity itself”. Players will assume the role of fan-favorite Clementine, a teenage survivor known from previous seasons, as well as a newcomer Javier, a man determined to protect his family in the zombie-infested world.
