Harold the Llama Explains Cottage Living in New Expansion for The Sims 4

Electronic Arts unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming Cottage Living expansion for The Sims 4. In the trailer, Harold the llama describes the charms of rural life.

Presented on June 10, the Cottage Living expansion for The Sims 4 lived to see a little more detailed announcement. The novelties that await us on July 22 are presented by a llama named Harold. The new performance of the animal that also appeared in the previous trailer, can be watched below.

From Harold's words we learn that the town of Henford-on-Bagley (HOB), to which the expansion will take us, will offer life like a forest cabin with access to the amenities offered by modern villages, such as small shops. These will be one of several sources of produce from which we will create 16 different types of preserves.

The main attraction of Cottage Living is to be tending one's own garden and husbanding livestock, including cows and llamas (for which we will create a barn) and chickens (up to 8 of them will fit in one henhouse). The better we take care of them and feed them - watch out for sneaky foxes, though! - the better milk or eggs we will get. Combine them with fruits of the land and you will cook tasty, healthy, and natural dishes.

The dishes, like our most beautiful animals, can enter competitions at the Finchwick Fair. Another new activity, embroidery, will offer 34 designs to be made (from the fluffy hair of a llama).

If you decide to purchase the Cottage Living expansion by September 2, you'll receive additional content in the form of a gnome statue, a decorative tree, and a bike for your sim to ride.
