Sequel to Acclaimed Post-Apocalyptic City Builder Gets Release Date. Unfortunately, Players Will Lose Opportunity to Check out Endzone 2 for Free
In a little over a month, Endzone 2 will hit early access on Steam. The strategy developers revealed the early access launch date while releasing a new trailer for the game.
Gentlymad Studio finally announced the early access release date for the sequel to their well-reviewed strategy game. The post-apocalyptic Endzone 2 will be available in early access on Steam on August 26, 2024. At the same time, the developers announced that the demo version of the game will soon disappear from Valve's platform.
The developers also published an almost 3-minute trailer of the game, which shows in detail what the gameplay will look like.
How the gameplay looks in action, we will check thanks to the demo version of Endzone 2, which can be played on Steam. However, due to the game's release, the demo will only be available until July 22nd, so you need to act quickly if you're interested in the strategy being discussed.
Players who checked the demo of Endzone 2, sent the devs a lot of feedback about the gameplay. However, they served developers in preparing several fixes - you can familiarize yourself with them in the latest message. Among them are new animations, a renewed exploration system, or an improved health system.
For now, we haven't learned the price to be paid for the early access version of Enzone 2.
Let's note that the action of the sequel takes place after the events shown in the previous installment. In Enzone 2, settlers head to an unexplored region referred to as the Wastelands. Our task is to explore and develop these territories so that humanity can rebuild itself after a global catastrophe.
The first part of the series - Endzone: A World Apart - was released in 2021 and received many positive reviews from Steam users. Up to now, they have published nearly 9 thousand reviews of the game, with 77% of them praising the strategy from Gentlymad Studios. It's worth mentioning that this city builder is on sale until July 26th and you can buy it for only $4.49 (the standard price is $29.99).
