Cities: Skylines Campus DLC Release Date Announced
Colossal Order and Paradox Interactive have announced a new expansion to the popular city-builder Cities: Skylines, called Campus. This DLC will enable us to design our own academic center equipped with a variety of buildings and sports facilities.
The highly popular city builder - Cities: Skylines - will soon be enriched with new content. Developers from the Finnish studio Colossal Order and Paradox Interactive, the game's publisher have announced a new expansion for the game, titled Campus.
As the name suggests, the players will receive an add-on that will enable them to create their own vast academic campus. The basis for an efficient educational center will be a variety of universities, including a commercial school, an art academy or a university. They will enable us to create new jobs and develop the scientific side of our city, which will enable us to unlock new buildings related to education and industry.
Developers intend to devote a lot of attention to academic sports - students will be able to compete in football, basketball, swimming or athletic competitions on specialized sports arenas. The players will get the opportunity to hire trainers for individual teams and take care of cheerleading performances, as well as earn money on selling tickets for these events. In addition, new regulations and achievements will be added to the game, as well as the opportunity to participate in the ceremony ending the academic year.
Cities: Skylines - Campus will be available on May 21, and will require the basic game version. The price of the expansion is set at $12.99 .
