Dinosaur Survival Game The Isle on Beautiful Gameplay Trailer
Survival game The Isle has received a new, big update. Along with it, a lovely gameplay trailer has hit the web.
- Dinosaur diet system;
- Bone fracture mechanics;
- New locations on the map;
- Playable Pachycephalosaurus class.
Devs at Afterthought released an impressive new trailer for The Isle, an online survival game in which we play as dinosaurs.
The video was published on the occasion of the release of a new update. The patch is marked with the number 0.8.60.19 and introduces many changes. The most important novelty is the diet system, thanks to which each species of dinosaur now has its own nutritional requirements. Failure to meet them causes a slowdown in the animal's rate of growth and lowering some of its stats.
The patch also introduced AI-controlled ambient animals to the maps and added a new playable dinosaur species in the form of Pachycephalosaurus. In addition, the damage system will be enriched with bone fractures.
The update has also added additional islands to the in-game map, and carnivorous predators have gained the ability to track scents. An anti-cheat system and dedicated Linux servers have also been introduced. These are only some of the novelties, because there are hundreds of changes.
The Isle debuted in early access in 2015. Last year, the devs released a thoroughly refreshed version of the game, which is known in beta form as ENVIRA. The earlier release functions as The Legacy.
Update 0.8.60.19 is designed for the ENVIRA version. To play it in Steam client you must go to the game properties in the "Beta" section and select "EVRIMA public branch".
