Robocop: Rogue City and Terminator: Resistance Devs Took on Different Genre; Teyon Studio Is Developing Action RPG
Thanks to job offers from Krakow-based studio Teyon, we know that the developers of RoboCop: Rogue City and Terminator: Resistance are working on an action RPG.
The Polish studio Teyon is looking for new employees to join the team developing an unannounced action RPG game for PC and consoles. The company currently has 4 vacancies that can be filled by interested people who specialize in animation, programming, gameplay, and environment design.
It's worth mentioning that some positions allow remote working. Teyon will, however, approve of this form of performing duties if the candidate meets the specified requirements. For a programmer, this would mean having at least three years of industry experience.
From the posted announcements, it appears that the new project - similar to last year's RoboCop: Rogue City - is being developed on Unreal Engine 5. Let us recall that the Polish studio previously talked about "several large brands" that it would like to work on.
Over the past 10 years, the company has released three FPP shooter games based on popular franchises. Teyon developed consecutively: Rambo: The Video Game, Terminator: Resistance, and RoboCop: Rogue City.
Rambo was by far the worst received out of these three titles. The other two games received significantly more positive reviews, and RoboCop sold more than 435,000 copies in approximately 2 weeks after its debut.
Hopefully, the surprise project will be as enjoyable as the studio's previous successful titles. We are left waiting for specific information related to this action RPG.
