The Callisto Protocol Will Scare Us Little Longer Than Dead Space
Striking Distance head Glen Schofield decided to give fans a little insight into the upcoming The Callisto Protocol. Among other things, we learned the estimated length of the highly anticipated horror game.
In the near future, players are in for many sleepless nights. All thanks to several upcoming releases of promising horror games and more. Among the titles that will make your hair stand on end, special attention is drawn to The Callisto Protocol. The new work of Striking Distance is scheduled to debut in early December, so more and more information about this horror game is being revealed.
In a recent interview with EDGE (via Gamingbolt), the head of Striking Distance, Glen Schofield, revealed that reaching the finale of the adventure in The Callisto Protocol will take us between 12 and 14 hours. This means that the game will scare us a little longer than Schofield's previous blockbuster, i.e. Dead Space (according to the information, the minimum playing time in the former was 11 hours), which at the beginning of next year will get a remake.
Interestingly, in the same conversation Schofield revealed that the game has many "beta tracks" that will encourage us to go through the title again. Unfortunately, the studio's CEO did not reveal how many of them there are, but they may extend the gameplay time.
"They appear later in the game, but some of them are so darn cool. We won't tell you where they are or how many there are. But if you really explore them, you can play longer," Schofield revealed.
It looks like we're in for a dozen hours of great fun and discovering the secrets hidden by the developers in the nooks and crannies of the game.
As a final reminder The Callisto Protocol is heading for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game will debut on the aforementioned platforms on December 2, this year.
