The Callisto Protocol has Reasonable Requirements, but Also Denuvo

We have learned the final system requirements for The Callisto Protocol. They are a little higher than the initial ones, but can still be described as reasonable.

We are just a little over a week away from the release of The Callisto Protocol, the horror game from brand veterans and devs of Dead Space. The studio responsible for the project, Striking Distance, decided that it was high time to share the final system requirements of the game.

The Callisto Protocol PC - minimum requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1060 / Radeon RX 580
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM.
  • Disk space: 75 GB
  • Operating system: Windows 10 or 11 64-bit version

The Callisto Protocol PC - recommended requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1070 / Radeon RX 5700
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM.
  • Disk space: 75 GB
  • Operating system: Windows 10 or 11 64-bit version

These requirements are more accurate than the early minimum and recommended configurations, revealed some time ago. It is also worth noting that they are slightly higher in terms of GPU selection. However, this should not be a big problem, as the recommended GeForce GTX 1070 / Radeon RX 5700 are not particularly exorbitant requirements for an AAA game from the end of 2022.

Some players will be annoyed by the information that the game's card on Steam includes information that the PC version of The Callisto Protocol will be protected by the Denuvo anti-piracy system.

The Callisto Protocol is heading for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, and will be released on December 2, this year. Yesterday we learned the content of the season pass - to put it mildly, it did not delight gamers.
