Test Version of Diablo 4's 2.0 Update Likely to Be Broken. Blizzard Prepares Players for Big Problems
The release of the Vessel of Hatred DLC for Diablo 4 won't take place until October, but today fans can try out the upcoming new features on the Public Test Realm. However, Blizzard warns that patch 2.0 may have even more bugs than previous patches.
The first narrative expansion for Diablo IV titled Vessel of Hatred will be released in just over a month. However, before that happens, anyone interested can experience for themselves what awaits them with the release of the new update. Today, the Public Test Realm (PTR) is launching, where players will have the opportunity to try out upcoming features. People hoping for a hassle-free fun might be greatly disappointed.
Blizzard warns about PTR update 2.0 for Diablo 4
Adam Fletcher, the brand community manager for Diablo, has informed through X that players may encounter significant problems with the game due to the nature of this update. Interestingly, the developer emphasized that there may be more of them than in previous updates.
Just a reminder that this is a PTR. Things will be broken. Things may not work completely as planned. This is normal as this is an early build. We expect this more with this PTR than prior ones as we have much more changing. But the feedback we receive during these tests are important! -- Fletcher explained.
We would like to remind you that the Public Test Realm will be active until September 11th. These tests will be split into two tours. The first one (September 4-6) will focus on the level gaining system. Over the rest of the days, players will be able to try out other new features.
