Terraria Sets Another Record on Steam
Terraria is going like a storm. The game is immensely popular and has set an exceptional record.
Numerous praise aimed at certain games is often met with outrage from many players who have a completely different opinion of them, but in the case of Terraria it is safe to say that it is simply a good game. This is proven not only by reviews on Steam or your comments under news items related to this title, but also by stats. Terraria has just set an exceptional record.
Terraria with a record
Terraria has received more than one million positive reviews on Steam, thus becoming the first indie game to achieve such a result. It's easy to check it on SteamDB, from where you can also find out that the title is currently played by more than 48,000 people, and at the hottest moment of the last 24 hours was more than 63,000 people, who at the same time built houses, dug to hell, fought the Eye of Cthulhu, or simply had fun. In the past we informed also that Terraria was the first game on Steam to reach more than one million reviews, most of which are "overwhelmingly positive" (at least 97% positive reviews).
Such an excellent result is certainly also influenced by the fact that recently Terraria received an update that improved gameplay and added even more content. We described it here.
Terraria debuted on PC on May 16, 2011, so the result is even more impressive, considering the fact that we're talking about a game that is already 11 years old. You can play the game not only on PC, but also on Android, iOS, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, 3DS, WiiU, PSV or Nintendo Switch.
