Terra Nil Goes Big and Devs Donate Money to Save the Planet
The developers of Terra Nil have released a video boasting of very positive feedback from their new work. The game about transforming a dead environment into a lush, living ecosystem is very popular on Steam.
The end of March saw the premiere of Terra Nil, a sort of hybrid of puzzle and strategy game from independent studio Free Lives. Although the game was already known before (it became a phenomenon at last year's Steam Next Fest), it was only after its official debut that it gained real fame and popularity.
By playing Terra Nil, you save the planet
With this in mind the creators of the "reverse city builder" decided to share a message, in which they thank for the amazing reception of their work - the title has reached 300 thousand players..
The developers will donate 8% of the profits from the sale of the game to the non-profit organization called Endangered Wildlife Trust, dedicated to wildlife conservation in South Africa.
This information was accompanied by a video in which Free Lives presents a selection of opinions on Terra Nil (you can watch it below).
"Just a week after the release of Terra Nil the game has drawn in 300,000 environmental enthusiasts," reads the announcement, in which the developers also encourage support for the Tree Nation initiative.
Terra Nil with great ratings on Steam
Terra Nil has received 1,739 ratings on Steam, 83% of which are positive. The activity record was set right after the release, that is, on March 28, when the game was played by 5916 players at one point.
