How to locate animals in Terra Nil, the Outdated communicate explained
At the last phase (third) of the level, you will be able to build an Animal Observatory (3rd building tab), it does not require electricity.
When it is ready, you will be able to use a scanner. Open an animal menu in the top left corner of the screen. Pick an animal, you want to attract, and use scanner (C-like symbol). Just click the button and later click on the terrain. Try different combinations. You should check description of animals before creating habitats. It will make your job easier.
The game will provide you with logs of last 3 scans. Yellow circle means that the requirement is partially met, green means that it is fully met. If you encounter Outdated communicate, it means that there are some other animals on the terrain, and you cannot introduce another species.
Animals cannot live in the same space. In the case of predators, their habitats should overlap with those of their prey, however, only by border of 1 tile, not more.
