Bungie confirmed that they are working on porting Destiny 2 to next-generation platforms. Only the Xbox Series X version has been confirmed so far, but a release on PlayStation 5 is virtually certain.

Yesterday a free version of Destiny 2 debuted, as well as another paid expansion for the game called Shadowkeep. The interest in the game resulted in serious problems - developers were even forced to temporarily shut down the servers of both installments. Most of the complications have already been eliminated.

Destiny 2 is about to undergo huge changes. The game becomes a free-to-play title, so that all players will have be given a large part of the content released in the first year of development. However, this is not the end of the changes.

Developer Bungie informed on Destiny 2's Steam page that Destiny 2 with the upcoming Shadowkeep expansion will take up 165 GB in total. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 installations will be similar in size.

Bungie Software informed that the free version of Destiny 2 will be released with a few weeks' delay - on October 1, instead of September 17, this year. The slip will also include Shadowkeep, the next expansion which was to be released on the same day as the free-to-play release.

Destiny 2 - online shooter from Bungie - does not run on PCs equipped with the AMD Ryzen 3000 series CPU. The source of the problem is unknown at the moment, but developers are already working to identify and eliminate it.

Bungie organized a special stream dedicated to the future of Destiny 2, in which they presented the upcoming Shadowkeep add-on and confirmed the switch of the basic edition of the title to a free-to-play model.
