Today, the strategy game Sweet Transit will debut on Steam as part of Early Access. The title will be priced at approximately $25. The exact amount will be announced after launch.

Sweet Transit is an economic strategy game for fans of Transport Tycoon or the Railroad Tycoon series. In the game you will start with a single warehouse and end up with a prosperous network of cities and towns. Settlers will move between towns using only trains. Gameplay can be seen in a video provided by the publisher, the company Team17:

Our task is to primarily take care of the development of rail transportation. We will not only build stations, platforms and tracks, we will also lead the technology of railroads from the era of steam engines to the invention of their diesel counterparts. Playing from isometric perspective, we will also be given the opportunity to deal with the economics of towns, as well as satisfying their residents.

On the day of release the game will offer support for the Steam Workshop, so we can expect a variety of modifications. Sweet Transit is developed by the co-creator of Factorio, Ernestas Norvaišas.
